在宅ケア電話、NEOは通常個人宅に設定されているアナログ電話回線があれば利用可能です。NEOは小電力無線を使い、多種多様なセンサーのオン / オフ出力を捉え予め設定した４軒の電話に向けて逐次警報を発信します。特にEMFiT社製のセンサーを使用した安否検知器（SafeBed-II）ならびに態動検知器（SafeBed-I）との組み合わせで使用されるとき真価を発揮します。
一方、介護師携帯用警報受信器、TREXは老人ホームなど介護師が常駐している施設用に作られている、多人数の被介護者に複数の介護者が関わる場合でも混乱なく運営が可能である。TREXから追加の介護師のヘルプをコールする事が出来る事、また緊急コールのイヴェントをログすることが出来るなど、欧州で第２位の実績を誇るNEAT社製品の優位性が伺われる。
